I'll try to keep up a running total... ?

Oh! And by the way, whom ever wins should write up their experience with the DIY kit.

Thanks for doing this contest!  I'm going to to pass on entering this one because...well....my lights are out at 9pm, I would be wasting good equipment that someone else will make good use of.

Rats come out to play during the autumn months as well, at least in my experience. You might get good use from the kit through October and November when the sun's gone down a bit before your bedtime. If you were to encourage them a little with some peanut butter consistently placed at a good shooting spot, you may find they'll arrive even earlier at other times of year, but still dark enough to merit use of an NV kit.

Geez, only eight people! I am, nonetheless, going to stick to my time table, and award the prize as of July 1st.

By the way, I have the device in my hands at this writing. I haven't opened it, but I did look at the exterior of the box. Not too bad considering it sells for $159. Whoever wins it, is going to have some fun.
