I've been thinking, which may be a bad idea. However, if the Fortitude gets too far out, I'll have them ship a Gauntlet instead. Does anyone like that idea?

I'm good with it.

Would you also like my opinion on whether I should win?   ;D ;D

Yup, I think a giveaway of any new entry-level PCP would be a great draw  :-)

I would think that with so many posts of "follow the rules", changing the prize is wouldn't even be on the table.....

It was a "what if". Let us all hope it hits at Pyramyd says it will.

The ending date has been a bit iffy, and here's why:

https://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Benjamin_Fortitude_PCP_Air_Rifle_Regulated/4569/8919

Originally, the in stock date was to be March 31. As you can see now, it is stretched out until the end of May. And, based on the folks a Pyramyd, it may not make it then! Steveoh and I have talked about the best way to handle the situation, and haven't come to a conclusion. However, since you ask, and the fact I'm the guy paying for this "give-air-way", the contest will end on April 15th, better known as tax day. At that time, whomever wins, will have a choice, either to wait for the .22 Fortitude, or choose a .22 Marauder, albeit the latter costs more money. I'd even entertain a different brand of about the same cost as the Fortitude, but understand the magazines wouldn't be included.

I trust this is a fair workaround to the delay issue. And thanks to Squirrel Hunter for bringing up the issue and getting me off the fence. Oh, and releasing Steveoh from further consternation! (He has enough to worry about now!)

Sounds like a fair and balanced solution.

You should start your own news channel!   ;D

IF (note the big IF) I won I'd just be excited to win.

Actually, an Umarex Gauntlet is on my "would sure like to try it out" list.

Whatever though.  Its your drawing.

That is the exact point, Bob. If you win, and you could, it would be your choice. We shall see!
