The waiting is killing me!
« on: April 05, 2017, 12:47:45 PM »
I've had my texan for around 5 months and haven't had the air to shoot much. I recently got a 90cf tank but have to drive 2 hours to get it filled. Then it's $17 for a 3400psi fill.(Ripoff) So last Thursday I ordered a Altaros booster, 60lbs of lead, and Bob's 280gr BBT mold from accurate. I've got around 300 143gr roundball and 500 345gr gould bullets cast. I've got no info on the tracking for the accurate mold and the Altaros seems to be stuck in limbo with the last tracking info beeing shipped to destination country and no info from USPS yet. Since I've been waiting I've plumbed air from my garage to the basement to feed the Altaros. Last night I turned
20lbs of lead into clean ingots to help lesson my madness. Hunting season is over and I'm loosing my mind! Just eager to put some trigger time behind this rifle! I'm very impatient waiting on the shipping if you can't tell. :P

Ordered and got ticking number March 31st so 6 days. I've read of people getting them in 11 days so that puts me into next week and another weekend of not shooting. At least the weather could be crap but no it's going to be nice this weekend.
