Wow, you can really hear those bullets whistling.  As always, great shooting.  Are you still shooting the 382 grain bullets at around 880 fps for this video?

Thanks for sharing,

Same bullet, 384 gr. but the NEW valve is getting another TWEAK,  and don't have it at this time......I have a stock MODIFIED valve that I modified/tweaked a TAD more and chronographed first 5 shots that morning of video and averaged 875 fps for 653 fpe and variance was 5 fps.  At 3500  psi. So not bad..  That new valve with this bullet and 3900 psi gave me 928 fps at 734 fpe. And the 412 gr at 3900 psi was 909  fps and 753 fpe. When I get all working together and able to open valve at 4500 psi with the tremendous volume of air it can pass,  will be something, from a TEXAN anyway.

Wow, that's some serious power. Be sure to keep us updated on the new valve please. Be interesting to see the results at 4.5k psi.

Thanks,
Chris

Will be worthless at 4500 psi. Valve passes such volume of air. A CF 88 cu ft tank charged to 4800 psi gives me maybe 15 or so shots down to 3500 psi and I always tether from bench. At 4500 psi 2-3 shots just to see what it will do. 500 cc tank and one shot will PROBABLY take it down 600-700 psi for second shot...........Will be interesting for bragging purposes only. Not going to re-charge to 4500 psi from a 4500 psi tank...........If you want to move BIG heavy bullets at good speed it takes AIR..........Will post when it happens.

What you hear just before bullet arrives is report of gun firing, sound traveling faster than bullet. My .257 was twice as loud because TEX has a  powder burner Muzzle brake, and a LARGE part of air from barrel upon firing goes lateral so not real loud at target area. Thanks for  compliment.
