New Air Tank
« on: January 31, 2017, 05:10:41 PM »
I just ordered a new Great White from Joe.  He advertises it as 97cf.  I'm hoping he is right.  I sold my Tiger Shark because I was having to take it to the shop to fill a couple times a week last summer.  I sold a PB and a scope and got enough for the tank.  Maybe only have to take it to the shop once a week now.

Look for a HP Scuba Tank  100CF at 3450 PSI.  Plus you can use it with and intensifier.

And you think 16 cu ft will make that much difference Newell? You maybe should have got another 71 cu ft or so tank  and cascaded.
You can probably drop your tank off at Dillon's, he can pump it up after he's done milking. Being a youngster and all. ;D
Buncha BB guns that I don't get to shoot as much as I like.

I cascade with the Scuba tanks then ship to the Carbon Fiber tank.

The Tiger Shark is 66 CF and the Great White is 88 CF.... They are the standard 45 min. and 60 min. SCBA tanks.... The new tank will be 33% larger than what you had....

I have 2 - 66cf scba cylinders. I cascade them and that really stretches out the air so my suggestion would have been to buy a second cylinder and add the cascade fill for maximum performance instead of buying the 88cf cylinder.

Yea they call then the Altaros?   http://airgunguild.com/airgun-tanks-compressors-and-filling/altaros-air-compressor/

Theone I had in mind, Mr. Hollow point had one.  I took that and added a Pressure switch to turn it off and a 12 volt valve with relay to operate it automatically.

If I can't sell mine, I'm going to convert it to run off a L.P. pressure regulator for a Scuba Tank.  The stock form uses a Shop air compressor.  I made mine to operate off 12 volts and a portable gas powered compressor.
