Airgun, AirTank and Compressor Gauges
« on: March 12, 2019, 04:38:53 PM »
I know we've talked about Airgun, AirTank and Compressor Gauges before, but I feel the need to bring it up again.

First off I have a bunch of BigBore rifles that do not have gauges built in. You know. DAQs don't have them, and the new .257 Citrus, or whatever it's called. So I rely on having a gauge on my tanks, and on my compressor.

All the gauges I have are off from one another. Which one is the most accurate? I haven't a clue. I know I blew a burst disc, actually two of them on my 90ci Ninja / Air Venturi tank. And I think it was because the gauge on the YongHeng compressor is whacky as all get out. At one point it was 500psi different than the gauge on the Ninja.

So I think I need one really decent gauge to compare the other maybe not so good gauges to.

Anyone have a reference gauge they can recommend?

Sure feels like a crap shoot these days getting accurate pressure.

I made a pass thru block and plan on getting a certified gauge. They are not cheap.

Steve, I have a pair of Winters PFQ912 meters. They're 2.5 inch, 1/4 inch pipe coming out the back. They read 0-5000 PSI/kPa, and are rated at ±1.5%. They sell for about $25 each. Are you interested? If so, I'll ship them out.

I'll guarantee he's a tile setter. Dry hands in need of constant care, doing something non-tile completely wrong, and being self assured and arrogant enough to film yourself doing it wrong. Yep, tile setter for sure. Didn't even have to click on it.
