Head of the class!
« on: January 24, 2018, 12:48:21 PM »
I normally don't post movies or photos of what I shoot (at least not anymore), but in this case, I can't resist. I just wish someone else was around to see me make this shot. The distance wasn't all that great, about 65 yards or so, but the dove was about 4 feet behind a tree limb in my line of sight, with just part of its head showing. But, I did have help... The wind was blowing about 2 to 5 mph at the time. I used the roof of my vehicle to steady the shot, and lead to the left (against the wind), ever so slightly. And Bang!

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

Sort of looks like it doesn't it?

Actually, it was an AirArms 25.4 gr at about 880.
