Sending PM's & having a copy problem

I had send Travis a PM a couple days ago and was looking to see if a response was sent ...
Doing so I checked my "SENT" message folder and it is Empty  :o

Called Travis and he says he got the PM ... So why is there no copy of a sent PM is there ?

Settings or glitch ?

Go to your Profile, Modify Profile, Personal Messaging, and set the default for sent PMs to save a copy....

I plead ignorance.  I just looked, where is the "sent message" folder located?

Click on "My Messages" tab, mouse over the "Messages" box, top left, you will see "Sent Items" in the Drop-down menu....
