Dillon (Dairyboy) just did the switch. I think he's still honeymoonin'. Search his posts.

Roy at Mtn Air has the barrel and bolt conversion, simple drop in.  I have the barrel from him and it's real accurate.  Someone here could probably help you out with the power tune.  Only thing, the barrels from Roy are 20", I am sure he can get you a 24" one.

Talk to Travis about this.  He is worth a little of your time.

I'm back!!! Roy at mountain air is where I also got the bolt and barrel very easy drop in. I wanted it at 20" but i believe you can order them at any length. Another member I talked to wanted to do the same and he ordered a 24" barrel from him so I know it's possible. As for a power tune what are you looking for power wise? I went with a hill .30 valve but if you want it for more power 90fpe is all I've tested to but I want shot count and can get 5 shots at 85fpe within 1.5% ES.

Thanks for the reply I will call mtn air. Now for the power level , I thought a 24 inch barrel would allow a tune to be higher power with less air, but I would like the 900s FPS range with 44 or 50 gr pellets . And by drop in , how easy drop in.
thanks

I've only shot 44gr so far but have gotten them to 930 with the 20" barrel so with 24" would be even higher and will be more efficient on air. For the barrel by drop in is as easy as it gets. Simply replace the barrel he does all machining so it's a simple swap. If you've ever taken the gun apart it takes maybe 10 min to swap the barrels.

OK I called him and sent e mail . It is in the works He will provide a 26.5 inch barrel that will go to end of shroud. Is there a place to get the tune up done, Does Travis do it or can a war valve take cre of it. I ah'm a getting old and my hands are not what they used to be. compliments of the army so I don't have full use of them anymore. Hell if my wife's not home I don't even have a date on sat. night. But I can still shoot. Thank you for the help.

First off thanks for your service and sorry to hear that your hands are messed up cause of it. Second Travis would be a good guy to call for this. A war valve will work for what power you need but if you don't feel comfortable having him do it is best. I'm glad I can help in anyway

Thanks for the help.  Also  for the thanks on army, but it was my own dumb ass choice of what I did there, that caused most of my issues , not really the army's.  I did what every one says not to do . I VOLUNTEERED FOR IT.  serving the country and others has always gotten me into trouble one way or another and after 21 years in it,  got to be a habit, I would have stayed longer but couldn't pass the pt test any more. I still take my oaths of office most serious even though some do not.  Thanks for all the help and Tell Travis I like the flex.

I'm using a 24" .30 barrel on my mrod conversion with a hill .30 cal valve.  Haven't done much tunning on it because it's definitely not for backyard friendly air rifle. Even with the 28" shround it still barks pretty loud. I've gotten 939 FPS with the chrony 15 feet away so it's much higher if the reading was near the muzzle. I also did the carbon fiber tank with JDS adapter and regulator. Had the send the regulator back since it was reading 2,000 psi and I request 2,200 psi. I'll do more test and tune when my regulator comes back.

What would you all consider the war valve or hill for the 30 mrod.

I want it to leave at my cabin , Critters, Fox, coyote, coon, skunk etc all in the proper season of course. I have the barrel and port from mountain air now just have to put that together. But unsure of which valve as I want it to work every time.  Would like to get at least 90 fbe or better. Have both 44 and 50 gr pellets. Thanks for the feed back.

Just remember that generally pushing a pellet faster than 950fps can lead to poor accuracy. The pretty much equates to around 95-100 fpe tops. If you want more power I’d say you’re going to need to try cast bullets.

That is all I need,  as I have a Daystate 303,(it does the job) but I don't leave it in DA UP, as if someone breaks in I would rather lose the mrod. Also the Daystate is a ton of gun to carry.
