Looking for a couple of used Hatsan or Hammerli probes?
« on: May 28, 2017, 09:45:37 PM »
For some strange reason I have more guns than probes? I think I have Gremlins in my house, my probes and magazines are all slowly vanishing. If you have any let me know what you want for them, I think I have new seals if they need them, many thanks, Neil.

PS. mods if this is in the wrong area sorry but I could not find a classified page, is there one?

You don't live in Roswell, but I found one (Hatsan I think) at the range, complete with a 3 foot hose. A couple of days later it was the topic of conversation at breakfast. In short, the owner got it back.

As a suggestion.... When I owned a Hatsan, I bought a spare probe, and left it in my range bag. You never know when you'll find yourself at your favorite spot without a probe. And, it will always be over 100 miles back home!

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

Thanks Alan but I have way too many guns to get spare probes for all of them. They don't often get used, that is the problem and my lovely wife has no idea what these little things are so they end up in a bag of bits she puts together. I have 3 Hatsans and one probe and I have just given a Hatsan to a new to air guns friend of mine, I told him I will send the probe and find him a fill center with hose, but only when I know if he is going SCBA or SCUBA. I can't send him my only probe as I need to be able to fill my guns so i can test my LDC's before I ship them. Man how it would be so easy if every maker just used the same connectors, just like cars, that would be just too easy? Thanks for the input but it made more sense to me to have 1 probe to fill 3 or 4 Hatsans than to have spare probes for every gun. If I do not get any response I may have to machine a couple of them, but being so far behind with my orders it makes more sense to try and buy a couple. Thanks for the input, it is all gratefully received, have a happy holiday Monday, Neil.

Yeh but that price is crazy, add another $20 for the QF piece and add shipping you have a $60 probe. If I can't find any I will machine my own with both ends on it so I won't need to by a screw on CF part. I don't see how they can justify so much for such a small part.
