New mould!!!

Have a new  70 grain .257420 boat tail mould on the way from Arsenal moulds.This is a very popular mould for airgunners according to their site.Can't wait  to try them on the range.http://arsenalmolds.com/products?product_id=90

I have that mold.  I gave them the original specs for it to make for me and I am going to offer that for sale when I get the molds for my machine.

Got to shoot the boat tails at 25 yds  and they grouped pretty good,hope to shoot at a longer yardage tomorrow.

Certainly looking forward to the longer range results. I will definitely be saving this link in my favs for future possibilities for my own casting endeavors.

I would think at 25 it should be one .26" hole. Let us know how it does at 3,4 or more times that please.

Do you have the FB 257420 mould so that you can compare the two bullets, Dave?.... Here are the calculated Drag Curves I did when I designed the BT version....

Know I have the old standard Lyman 420 but can't remember if I have the other. Couple of em are over at dougs place. Will have to check. Pretty sad I don't even remember which I have lol
