JSB .22 Beast
« on: July 30, 2017, 07:10:58 PM »
For those of you out there that have shot these before, what has been your experience with the accuracy.....good, bad, ugly?  And what velocity are you shooting them? Have a tin of them and a .22 Mrod. Never have done an accuracy test yet because I changed the tune in the gun for 18.1 JSBs.  Any idea on the ideal barrel twist for these Beast?

Thank you,
Chris

I tried some in a 16" twist in my Disco Double at ~900 fps and while not bad at 50 yards, I couldn't keep them on the paper at 100 yards.... I suspect that was too fast a twist and they were spiraling as they went further downrange....
