UMAREX was to come out with an all-copper pellet called HALOX. I placed an order for them, but that was cancelled once it became apparent that UMAREX was having manufacturing issues. Digressing...
Once upon a time, when I was really gung ho about varmint hunting, and had the perfect prairie dog town to hunt in, I hunted almost every weekend I could get away. A typical day's hunt expended some 1,500 rounds, about equally divided between a 22-250AI and a .22 HornetAI. I sure wasn't worried about the cost per shot, that's for sure! The point being, if I could buy pellets with as good of a consistency as Nosler maintains in the varmint bullets, I'd pay the price even if they were 15¢ each! As it is, even with JBS MkIIs, I still get way too many nutating and errant pellets to suit me.
